Liposuction/Breast Augmentation Photos - Patient 3995
This 36 year old, 5' 5", 160 pound Hispanic female patient presented with bilateral mammary hypoplasia (underdevelopment) and localized excess fat in the abdomen and flanks (the area of the back just below in the waist). Breast augmentation was performed using Inamed Medical style 468, size 360 round saline breast implants filled to a level of 390 cc. The placement of the breast implants was subpectoral (below the pectoral muscle). The incision was inframammary (in the crease at the bottom of the breast). Her pre-operative bra size was 36B; her post-operative bra size was 36C.

Liposuction was performed on her abdomen and flanks using both suction-assisted and ultrasound-assisted techniques. 1600 cc of aspirate was removed from her abdomen; 675 cc was removed from her right flank, and 725 cc was removed from her left flank. Liposuction of the abdomen and flanks gives the patient a narrow torso and a longer line. The after photographs were taken 13 months after her surgery.
