Artefill® is a soft injectable filler that offers the longest-lasting wrinkle treatment you can find without surgery. It works in two ways:
- replacing lost collagen underneath the skin to smooth wrinkles
- blending with your own natural collagen to fortify your skin’s support structure.
Artefill® is FDA approved to treat wrinkles and lines around the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds), such as smile lines.
Unlike other fillers, the particles in Artefill® will not degrade and absorb into the body. Why is this important? Because it means your results will still look great for years, and you will not need to return to the office for repeat treatments. It can help you save time and money over the long run.
Also unlike other fillers, the results continue to improve for up to a year following treatment, making it easy for you to be discreet about how you came to look so much younger.
Results can last 5 years or longer. Since the particles in Artefill® do not degrade, they will remain in place permanently as part of your skin’s support structure. However, it’s important to remember that no cosmetic treatment can stop the aging process. While Artefill® will last for years, you will continue to age naturally. You may desire additional treatments to refresh your appearance over time.
When administered by a qualified physician, Artefill® has been proven safe and effective. The material in the Artefill® microspheres, polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), has been used safely and regularly in medical materials for over 60 years.
You will see diminished wrinkles, smoother skin, and a more refreshed appearance immediately after treatment. Your skin and facial tissues will feel soft and natural—you will not be able to feel the Artefill® particles.
Artefill® treatments are customized for each patient. The price varies depending how much is needed to achieve your desired results. In general, Artefill® injections will cost more than temporary fillers at the time of treatment, but since you won’t need re-treatment every few months, you’ll quickly save money over time.
