Incision: Inframammary fold

About this patient: This 29-year-old, 5-foot 8-inch, 118-pound female patient presented with bilateral mammary hypoplasia (underdevelopment) and a chest wall asymmetry. Breast augmentation was performed using McGhan style 68, size 240cc smooth round, saline breast implants. To balance her chest wall asymmetry, the implants were filled to different levels: the right implant was filled to a level of 255 cc; the left implant was filled to a level of 270 cc. The placement of the breast implants was subpectoral (below the chest muscle). The incision was in the inframammary crease. Her pre-operative bra size was 34A; her post-operative bra size was 34B.
