Our patients are usually eager to return to work and normal activities after surgery. But almost everyone has some temporary bruising and swelling. A variety of products can be used to camouflage these signs. We offer camouflage make-up in bases to match all skin colors, and we can teach you to mix in tints to cover redness and bruising.

Tints are used to disguise the yellowish shade of a bruise or the overall redness that follows a chemical peel or laser skin resurfacing. A lavender tint neutralizes yellow, while green reduces redness. Contouring can also be used to disguise the swelling that often follows nose surgery and facial implants. Contouring creates dimension by using light and shadow - lighter-colored areas appear to come forward, while darker-colored areas recede. Mastering the application of camouflage cosmetics may help you return sooner to normal activities without drawing unwanted attention to your surgery.
